Tears of BloodI open my eyes and all I see is darkness
I crawl out of bed and all I feel is coldness
I try to walk and, of course, I only stumble
I want to scream but instead I simply mumble
I smile, but rest assured, my happiness I feign
While inside I wince from the mind-numbing pain
I start to weep and down my cheeks tears flood
Not tears of sorrow but crimson tears of blood.
BelieveThe sight out of the corner of your eye

The bolt of light that flashes by,

The idea that you cannot quite reach

The voice that whispers through the beach,

The object just around the bend

The garden of wildflowers to which faeries tend,

The opaque moonbeams shinning down to earth

The glowing embers burning in the hearth,

The foundation of all hopes and dreams

Things so real to each, it seems,

A goal, a wish but will it be?

Anything can happen when you believe.
PrisonerWith chains of steel her limbs are bound,
In her prison not a sliver of light can be found
A cement box, isolated from the outside world
Long ago, into the depths of despair the key was hurled
Pounding on the walls, crying out to be heard
Others, too concerned with their troubles walk onward
The days are getting longer as her life nears an end
No longer can she fight, or her own self defend
Then in the heart of darkness appears a gleam of light
As others come to banish obscurity from the Blight
The iron bars disappear; at last, she is free!
Yet on the ground she lies, dead as all can see
So of this freedom she cannot glimpse, nor
The Mystery of LifeLife is a fantasy, a dream, it's unreal,
Made to teach us emotions that everyone must feel,
Overcome by love, passion and hate,
It is not I who chooses my fate,
The Creator, The Being, The Ultimate Force,
We begin on a road, we travel our course,
Life is the teacher,
Humankind is its class,
Together we climb,
Together we crash,
As our journey nears an end,
It is you who decides who is foe and who's friend,
Some seek only for their own gain,
While others who love feel life's pain.
Is happiness something money can buy?
Are riches just a giant lie?
How much of life is mystery?
